Your first ear infection (right ear) – Dr. Betty was amazed that you hadn’t had one before now May 2, 2003
You started choking and scared mommy at Wal-mart (mommy thinks it was a leaf) May 9, 2003

You tried to open the door knob to Mommy & Daddy’s closet. You now know that’s May 10, 2003

Our First Mother’s Day together (you & daddy gave me a pearl ring) Thank you! May 11, 2003
We went to Mother’s Day lunch w/Grandma, Grandpa & Uncle Christopher (Pancho’s) May 11, 2003
and Mommy & Daddy tried to get you from Grandma and you wanted Grandma
to hold you, not us. Very sweet for Grandma, but sad for us

Daddy asked you to get your highchair so he could feed you, you crawled over to it, turned May 23, 2003
around, looked at him and pointed at him for him to get it (first time you pointed)
2nd try at the Ferber method – 1st night. Mommy had to leave again May 23, 2003
Tough on daddy (mommy had to stay somewhere else – can’t handle your crying,
it breaks mommy’s heart). Your such a good boy – you did great
You gave mommy a kiss on your own w/o mommy asking – open mouth, lots of slober : ) May 24, 2003
2nd night of Ferber method – you cried for about 30 minutes – it was tough May 24, 2003
3rd night of Ferber method – you cried for about 20 minutes – it was still tough, but better May 25, 2003
4th night of Ferber method – you cried for 5 minutes – awesome, awesome baby! May 26, 2003
When we say ‘hello’ you hold whatever is in your hand at the time up to your ear and talk to it May 27, 2003
It’s your telephone – very, very cute. Your so smart!
5th night of Ferber method – a little rougher, you’ve got a cold – so it was harder on you May 27, 2003
You gave daddy a kiss all by yourself May 29, 2003
7th night of Ferber method – daddy put you to bed and you cried so much you threw up May 29, 2003
all over yourself and your bed – very sad. We let you sleep w/us.
You learned to stand on your knees – your so cute! May 30, 2003
8th night of Ferber method – your back in your bed – doing great! Good for you! May 30, 2003
You ate your first bug – yuck! A June Bug … yucky! May 31, 2003
You drank from your sippy cup w/the spill proof nozel in it – yea – no more water everywhere J May 31, 2003
Today we were at El Chico having lunch, daddy stuck his spoon to his nose, gave it to you May 31, 2003
and you tried to stick it to your nose – your so smart!
