Dog's have a 3rd eye lid?

Apparently .... according to my vet. And it's very normal.

Kuma has woken up twice now w/her eyes like this.

I am glad it's nothing major. It really freaked me out. It doesn't seem to bother her and it usually goes back to normal w/in 45 minutes.
